Sailor V, started out alone. She lived in England and then moved to Japan. She was a normal teenager then and 13 years old when she met Artemis, a talking cute white cat with a cresent moon on his forhead. He explained to her that she was destined to fight against evil with his help and he would be her guardian. So she did and she worked with the police to catch criminals.
Later she met with the other Inner Senshi (the rest of the Sailor Scouts). They all thought she was the moon princess because she was so beautiful and had a yellow cresent moon on her forhead. But later they found out the analogy was wrong and Serena was the real moon princess.

As I may have said before Sailor V was
the original sailor scout. They
created hereven before Sailor Moon!
She was first placed on a Japanese
magazine where they wrote stories
about her and Aretmis (her guardian cat).
She was an oridinary teenage girl
(like Serena),that fought evil in
her spare time. Later they decided
the Sailor V story needed more charcters,
so the authors decided to make a new charcter
replacing Mina, they named her Serena;
Sailor Moon.So they made a show about
Sailor Moon, and they theylater added
Sailor Venus to the sailor scouts!
